Smostly african american freedom and to make sure everybody meaning every culture could have the same rights. it involved the south and the north that meant the differentce between being free and be a slave. the war was verry long and many imortn people died. For example abraham lincoln and many soldiers in the north and south.
Body Paragraphs
The civil war starded in 1861 and ended in 1865.Thats the second longest was in hstory next to the war in iraq. Many inecent slaves died. and there was nothing blacks could do cose they had no rights enless your master likes you and think your worthy.
I think to many people hated other races for no reason beacouse there where still humans just like them. and that many racis act happen like blacks could not go to other places like whites.
Conclusion
In my conclusion slavery was wrong and we should have ended it a long time ago. And i hope its still does not happen nowhere in the world.And if u were a slave you should tell your story to the epeople nad kids that dont know what you and million african americans have gone threw.
